Three new solar lights have been installed in the west end of the park near the McNabs Lane entrance. People who cannot go to the park during the shortened daylight hours in the fall and winter can take advantage of the increased lighting and go there in the evenings.

One facility in the west end of the park that is well-used by the community is the Labyrinth, a meditative facility that supports both mental and physical health.  The increased lighting will help people find their way there after daylight hours.
